In 2001, the public will see and hear new information about the United Methodist Church, thanks to Igniting Ministry.

To ensure that your church is ready for company, Igniting Ministry is offering regional training, starting March 2001, to build welcoming and invitational skills, and increase your church's media presence. UMCom, with assistance from the General Board of Discipleship, will conduct more than 30 regional training events throughout the United States during this year. Each church is encouraged to bring 2-4 church leaders, including the pastor, to the day-long event, where a Planning Kit will be provided for each local church that participates.
